Trip to the Grand Canyon

A friend came to visit us in mid-March, so she and Kristen and I decided to take a trip to the Grand Canyon since she'd never been (neither had Kristen, for that matter!). It was beautiful weather during the day, and still really cold at night (in the 20s). There was even still a little snow on the ground! We had a great time seeing the Canyon, several herds of elk, and taking a bit of a drive down Route 66.
