This is for you, Robyn!

OK, so in catching up on my blog-stalking, I came across the perfect distraction.

Here are the rules:
  1. Open your first photo folder on your computer.
  2. Scroll to the 10th picture.
  3. Post that picture and the story behind it.

So here's mine:

Taken at the end of May 2008. Kristen looks so small - only 2 1/2 years old! And the shaved-head look on Eric is courtesy of the Arizona Law Enforcement Academy. We had been living in Arizona for almost 3 months and decided to take a bit of a break over Memorial Day weekend to head down to Tucson for some fun and relaxation. Everything had been so stressful up to that point - moving to a brand new place, knowing next to no one, dealing with some serious stress as Eric moved his way through the police academy. It was, honestly, not a really fun time. So we decided to get away for the long weekend and spent time at the Desert Museum, on Mt. Lemmon (where we rode the ski lift - and there was still some snow on the ground in late May!) and exploring downtown Tucson. It was a relief to be away from home and just enjoy being together - low stress.

So now, TAG, your turn! :)

Hmm...how is that possible that yours is the somewhat recent past? Our i photo goes back a couple years after we are married, but actually starts with photos we were given before then. Is this really the 10th picture in your collection? I must be missing something. Maybe your photo folders are not by date?
Ok, leave it to a blonde to make this exercise more difficult that it should be. :)

Haha...I guess it's probably due to the fact that we switched computers (PC to MAC) and just kept all our older files on CD or flash drive. Wish it would have been older, though! That would have been more fun! :)

OH well, switching from PC to Mac is a VERY good (and wise) excuse!

Yay! You played along...hooray :) I remember you posting about that trip and thinking you were so cool for being new to the area and just going off to explore somewhere I had never been in nearly 10 years of living there. Kristen does look so young there!
