- Pretend you had no idea how long it's been, kinda like when you fart in public and try to pass it off like you didn't
- Make up a ton of excuses - the dog ate my computer, the kids shoved grilled cheese sandwiches in my computer, I broke all my fingers while chasing after and trying to grab said dog and kids and couldn't type
- Try, try again and just post a lot of cute pictures
(Hint: c is always the right answer)
So here's a recap on the last several months:
FEBRUARY

Kristen played soccer through a nearby city league, and Eric ended up as the coach of her team - long story, but I think he had a good time. I'm not sure how much Kristen really liked playing...

...but she LOVED getting a trophy with her name on it at the end of the season!

And we added another member to the family. This is Kima, our half Old English bulldog, half American bulldog puppy. I finally gave up saying no to a dog, and a few days later Eric came home with his dog.
MARCH

We made it to the final spring training baseball game between the SF Giants and the Chicago Cubs. We had a really great time, even if it was the hottest day of the year to that point (about 98 degrees!)

Evan was there, too. Picture courtesy of Kristen...hehe.
APRIL
Evan as an elephant
Easter, dressed in their finest. Such cuties!
And we took Evan on his first visit to Krispy Kreme. What kid doesn't like that place?MAY

Toward the end of the month, we had some beautiful weather in the 80's, so we decided to take advantage of it and go for a hike in nearby South Mountain Park. We had a great time!

We also took a day trip to Gila Bend, Arizona and found these great big metal sculptures. Hopefully this is the closest Kristen will come to a rattlesnake in the wild!
JUNE

Evan is eating like a boy, that's for sure! It's been weird for me dealing with a kid that WANTS to eat, and all the time! But he sure does love his animal crackers, even if most of them end up all over his face!

We took a few days to enjoy some cooler temps up north and go camping. We had a really great time, and fun was had by all.

See? :)

We had Evan dedicated at church this month. It was a time for us to confirm our desires to raise him to know God at an early age.

And then Evan turned 1! How did this happen? Where did the year go?! So this is our early morning birthday picture in our pajamas, just like I've done for Kristen over the years.
WHEW! Okay, so that's been the last few months in a nutshell. Now to get in gear and keep posting for all 1 or 2 of you that read this here blog. If you missed us while we were gone, let me know and leave a comment! (We miss you, too!)
Up next, the birthday celebration! :)
