Once we got in the car, the mood quickly turned to TJ's Pirate. Aargh!!
And this is what happens when you leave a bookcase empty for too long - someone eventually gets stuck in it. Yes, she climbed up there by herself, and then started yelling for help because she couldn't get down. Which allowed me ample time to grab my camera...hehe.
ACADEMY UPDATE:
Today is the last day of Week 4 for Eric at the Academy. Academically, Eric is currently listed as 7th in his class. When you factor in the physical part, too, he's probably in the top 3 overall.
This was the first week that he wasn't in the "baby class" anymore, as a new class just started at the Academy this past Monday. That relieved a lot of stress off his class, since they weren't the newbies anymore! And they are continuing to lose people from his class. They're now down to 40 or 41 people from a starting class of 51.
This week wasn't too overly exhausting, save a really difficult run on Tuesday afternoon. This coming Monday, the start of Week 5, his class starts the 'defensive tactics' part of the training, which involves all the physical stuff (boxing, wrestling, body slamming - you know, all that guy stuff).
Eric has a really big test on Tuesday concerning criminal law. Pray that he'll be able to study well this weekend and retain all the information being thrown at him. Also pray for endurance and balance in every aspect of this experience. Thanks!

TJ's rocks. It's worth the drive. Even with crazy gas prices. ;) So glad Eric is doing well and I'll be praying for him as he preps for his Tuesday test!
Hi, Jaimee! It's awesome to hear that Eric is in the police academy. Kyle (my hubby) graduated from the police academy in February and is absolutely loving his job. His academy was 26 weeks, though, not 18 like Eric's (lucky!). I'm glad to hear things are going well for him, hope he continues to do well!
