December Birthday Par-tay!

An overwhelming number of people in my family have their birthdays in the month of December. So, when that (overly busy) time of year rolls around, we try to get together to have one big birthday party for all those December honorees. This year, Eric and I hosted the party at our place. As you can see, we don't have the most room in the world, so it was a nice and cozy event!

We mashed Eric (a November birthday) into this event as well, so it included him, myself, my nephew Jessey, Aunt Kathy, Kristen, niece Carrie, and my mom. Whew! Needless to say, Eric and I ended up with the "flat" presents, and the kids enjoyed the unwrapping!

We helped Kristen unwrap some of her new art supplies (here, a pretty cool smock!)

And then she opened some new books - so excited to be reading those together soon!

And one of her favorite gifts was hew very own chef set. It included this super cute apron and bandana hat, along with a pot holder and oven mitt. She loved wearing it around the party!
