Some Fun Day Trips

A couple weeks ago we took a little day trip to Salinas, CA, to see their annual International Air Show. It was a beautiful day, and we had a really fun time seeing the Blue Angels, Canadian Snowbirds, and all kinds of other planes. Kristen had a great seat!

Here are Eric and Kristen watching the A-10 demonstration. Once we got Kristen to call them "jets" instead of "choo-choos", we were a little more on the right track. :)

And then Kristen and I joined my sister and two of her kids on a day trip to the Children's Discovery Museum here in San Jose. We took the Light Rail to the museum, and the girls really liked the trip (left to right: Kiley, Kristen, and Carrie).

We played at the sand table for quite a while...

...said hello to Clifford and Emily Elizabeth (Kristen kept wanting to sit on her lap - haha!)...

...and got VERY wet in the water play area. But we sure had a fun time!
